Hello, Crafty Peeps! It has been a while since I posted here and It will take a while to show you some of the wonderful images I have been working with lately. I have become an absolute fan of Rick St. Dennis’ images. They are fun and easy to work with. I also like that his images are unique. Lots and Lots of digitals are starting to look alike and it is becoming more difficult to tell them apart.
I like this tag, because it is all stamping and paint. I am having the best fun mixing acrylic paints with TH Distress inks and stains. I finally broke down and purchased a few TH Distress Paints, and expect them to arrive any day. Since I didn’t have the paints, I could create the Pantine technique that Tim is teaching in his project. I did, I think, get the gear stained properly. If you are not making Tim’s Tags because you don’t have the products, try making them with what you own. That is what I do. I’m not trying to win a challenge (that’s not likely to ever happen); I just use his tags for inspiration. It’s fun!
The stamps sets used: (Eiffel Tower) Unity Stamp Co. Kit of the Month-December 2012; Bo Bunny Etc. Clear Stamp Collection. I added a small strip of washi tape and a wooden banner from one of the Prima Wood Trinkets collections. I smeared a little distress ink on the tag and just let it rip.
Thanks for stopping by!
Hugz,
Chana
