Bring On The Bling – Outlawz Greetings Challenge

Hi, Crafty Peeps!

Time for another fun challenge at the  Outlawz Greetings Challenge.    Brenda Turner is hosting the challenge and has challenged us to Bling Up our entries.  I used this opportunity to make my first ever  Shadow Box Easel Card!  It takes patience, but is well worth the time and singed fingers.

I was inspired by the design project of LeAnne at Luvlee Scrappin!

DEETS:  Image and Banner –  G45 Place in Time Collection.   Sentiment:  Unity Stamp Company.   The flower was handmade by “Yours Truly”.   As some of you may have noticed, I love this style of flower.  They are so easy to make and so versatile.  This one is actually the “stopper” on my easel.

More photos (showing the side and back) may be forthcoming.  It really depends on the disposition of the photographer! (LOL)

The image caused me to take a trip down memory lane.  My mother had several Fox Stoles and a Couple of coats with Fox Collars.  I remember being so afraid when she sent me to get her purse out of the closet.  I would run in, grab the purse (and because I have been a klutz for all of my life) I would usually trip and fall over the bedroom hassock or the chaise lounge.  I don’t think my mother ever knew how much anxiety those trips caused me. (LOL)

Thanks for stopping by!
Hugz,
Chana

About Chana Malkah

I am a "bubbie" (translation: grandmother), clinical supervisor(pediatrics) and an avid cardmaker. I enjoy making stationery sets and giving them to family and friends. This blog is for those who are just starting to explore cardmaking and other papercrafting. I have been away from cardmaking for about five years and was astounded by all the exciting changes in the craft. When I started stamping back in 1998, I only worked with wood mounted rubber stamps, metal stencils, markers and embossing powders and ink. Now there is a whole world out there and I hope we can explore together. In just eleven short months, I have gone from being afraid of posting my work...to being invited to join two design teams and waiting to hear from two more! Pursue your Passion!

I love this so much I’m leaving love on both blogs. The vintage look is fabulous. Graphic 45 is one of my fave papers. That & Webster’s Pages. I love them so much I hoard them & never use them. Isn’t that awful? This is something I would love to try sometime. Thanks for showing it to us. Hugs~Patti
