Capture Life

Hello, Cardies! Here is just a quick post of my DT Card for the “Add Some Sparkle” challenge at Stamp-N-Doodle. I had my own challenge with the glitter on her skirt, but I have since learned a new method.

I know all the rules say not to get too personal on crafting blogs, but today I am in a rule breaking mood, so here is a little sharing with my “fabulous” followers:

For the past few months, I have been struggling with what I have come to believe is a “spiritual” attack. But today, when I decided to post this card, I thought about a verse from the new writings (New Testament) that says,”some demons are only exorcised with fasting and prayer”. I am heading into my High Holidays and I realized, now, that these battles have really prepared me to approach Yom Kippur, Rosh Hashanah, and even Succos with an attitude of gratefulness and humility. I am so thankful to G-d for what he has allowed me to accomplish; and, even though there are those want to tear that down, and create confusion and distraction, I gain strength in knowing that my job is to “Capture” and live the Life that He is helping me build.

So, now, I return my focus to all of you who have been so kind and generous in your comments here on my blog. You have supported my efforts here and to help build Jackson’s Digital Expressions into a challenge blog that is fun and, we hope, interesting from week to week. Thanks so much! You are all blessings!

Thanks for stopping by.

About Chana Malkah

I am a "bubbie" (translation: grandmother), clinical supervisor(pediatrics) and an avid cardmaker. I enjoy making stationery sets and giving them to family and friends. This blog is for those who are just starting to explore cardmaking and other papercrafting. I have been away from cardmaking for about five years and was astounded by all the exciting changes in the craft. When I started stamping back in 1998, I only worked with wood mounted rubber stamps, metal stencils, markers and embossing powders and ink. Now there is a whole world out there and I hope we can explore together. In just eleven short months, I have gone from being afraid of posting my being invited to join two design teams and waiting to hear from two more! Pursue your Passion!
