Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge #196

Sage Solstice

I must admit that I was a little lazy and cheated on my pleated ribbon.  Usually I will stitch it down (which is much neater) but my son’s family is here and I want to spend as much time with my new grandson as possible.  It may be a year before I see him again.

Mojo Monday Blogspot is a great site.  If you are new to card crafting, you can find tons of inspiration and see the work of some pretty outstanding designers.  I made this card using materials from my “Scrap Heap”.   Hold on to those scraps and from time to time try to complete a challenge or other design project using nothing but scraps.   Be well!!

About Chana Malkah

I am a "bubbie" (translation: grandmother), clinical supervisor(pediatrics) and an avid cardmaker. I enjoy making stationery sets and giving them to family and friends. This blog is for those who are just starting to explore cardmaking and other papercrafting. I have been away from cardmaking for about five years and was astounded by all the exciting changes in the craft. When I started stamping back in 1998, I only worked with wood mounted rubber stamps, metal stencils, markers and embossing powders and ink. Now there is a whole world out there and I hope we can explore together. In just eleven short months, I have gone from being afraid of posting my work...to being invited to join two design teams and waiting to hear from two more! Pursue your Passion!

Just found you on the Outlawz and thought your Fathers Day Card was just too funny

  2. Your designs are remarkable, Chana, and this one in particular is stunning.

I found you at The Outlawz Follow Me forum and I am now following you. I hope you will visit me at my blog, Tickell Expressions.
